Love and a question
A stranger came to the door, on the eve
And he spoke just before the wedding.
He was wearing a green-white stick in hand,
And for all loads of attention.
Question in the eyes of the mouth
A shelter for the night,
And he turned and looked at the distance by road
A window with no light.

The groom left on the porch
With "Let's look at the sky,
And the question of the night to be
Stranger, you and me "
Woodbine leaves filled the court,
The woodbine berries were blue,
Autumn, yes, it was winter in the wind;
Stranger, I wish I knew. "

Inside, the wife in the evening only
Bending over the open fire,
His face red, bright pink with charcoal
And the thought of the desire of the heart.
The groom seemed tired of the road
However, he saw it, but
And wished her heart in a case of gold
Made with a silver pin.

The groom has found little
Arrest of bread, a bag,
A sincere prayer to God, the poor,
Or for the rich a curse;
But if a man was asked
March for the love of two
and welcoming home of the bride,
The husband wishes he knew.
